I have
so many questions and
so much to learn... I feel like Adobe is a black hole!
And here's a random question...
Does anyone know why photos that appear clear in other programs look horrible on Facebook?
I'm kind of embarrassed to ask... but I can't seem to figure it out.

AGREED!!!! I always say when I upload photos, "FB dumbed down my photos again!"
I think they just don't care about good quality of photos...i don't know! But I've had the same problem!
Hi Holland!
FB compresses the pics to a smaller file size to make the download time faster (i.e. so you don't have to wait 800 minutes for each picture to pop up while viewing an album.) Web pics are always craptacular quality because of this!
Laura is right!
The smaller the file size the worse it looks...
Try taking you good image and "save for web" in Photoshop and you will be able to play around with how it will look.
I also recommend buying "Photoshop-Classroom in a Book" and “Photoshop for Dummies” used on Amazon. They are LIFESAVERS and teach you neat little tricks!
