Schedules...

Since we finally moved into our house, I'm trying to get Chaps into some sort of a routine. Up until now, the only thing set in stone was her 10 pm bedtime. I would let her nap in her car seat, bouncy seat... wherever. This week I'm training (yes, like a dog) her to sleep in her crib at set times. I've been doing a lot of reading about sleep schedules and patterns... very interesting, huh? Anyways, I'm supposed to be watching her behavior so I can predict her needs before she actually shows signs of fatigue, hunger, etc.
In learning all of this new stuff... I think today's nap went rather well. Yesterday I could see that she was tired at 11 am. She started rubbing her eyes and getting fussy... so today, I put her down for a nap at 10:30 - she fell asleep in her crib in about 3 minutes! It was a disaster yesterday... she cried and cried... I had to console her over and over again. The problem is, once she starts acting tired, she is actually over-tired, which makes it harder for her to go down for nap. SOOOO interesting. But, this is my life right now! Happy baby makes a happy H.
She's waking up... 45 minute nap. Pretty good for now!
Just went up to get her... and a little milestone... we were playing on a blanket and she rolled over from her stomach to her back! It was so cute!
